What does it cost to host an ASIC miner in the UAE?

US$0.065 per kWh for hydro-cooled machines and US$0.075 per kWh for air-cooled, metered at the circuit. That single rate covers rack space, cooling, network, monitoring and first-line maintenance. There is no per-unit rack fee, no minimum contract length, and no commission taken on what the machine mines. The cooling type sets the rate - the number of machines does not.

How much does hosting cost, and what does the rate include?

$0.065 per kWh for hydro-cooled machines and $0.075 for air-cooled - the cooling sets the rate, and nothing else does. Either way it covers metered power at the circuit, rack space, cooling, network, monitoring and first-line maintenance. You are billed for the kilowatt-hours the machine actually draws - no per-unit rack fee, no hidden extras - and we take no commission on anything you mine.

Is there a minimum number of machines, or can I start with one?

You can start with a single unit. Standard hosting covers air-cooled racks from one to nine machines, and scaling up is as simple as adding a unit at a time. From ten units you move to Premium, which adds a priority repair queue, spare swaps and a named account contact - at the same rate as Standard.

Should I choose air or hydro cooling?

Hydro is $0.065 per kWh against $0.075 for air, so hydro is cheaper to run as well as denser - but the machine you own usually makes the decision for you. Under ten machines, air is almost always the right answer - widest model support, lowest entry cost, simple swaps. At larger scale, or for S21 XP class hardware, hydro wins on density and efficiency: cooler chips hold their rated hashrate, run quieter and last longer.

How quickly can my machines go live?

Tell us the model and quantity and we come back with a power quote and a deployment window - usually the same working day. On arrival, every machine gets a serial-logged receipt, inspection and burn-in before energisation, then it is configured to your pool, worker naming and firmware profile.

Hosting →

What happens if my machine fails?

The repair bench is in the same building as the racks. Certified Bitmain technicians handle board-level diagnostics, hashboard reflow and PSU rebuilds on site, and a failed air-cooled unit is unplugged and replaced in minutes. Because we hold volume Antminer and WhatsMiner stock, a replacement is a walk down the aisle, not an import.

Hosting →

Can I buy a machine from you and host it in one step?

Yes. We sell new and refurbished Antminer, WhatsMiner, IceRiver and Goldshell units from stock, and a purchase can go straight onto a rack. Select "Buy + host" on the enquiry form, or send us your budget on WhatsApp, and we will quote the hardware and the hosting together.

Hosting →

Can I bring machines I already own?

Yes - ship us yours and host at the same rates: $0.065 per kWh hydro, $0.075 air. We take machines from all major ASIC manufacturers, including Bitmain, MicroBT, Canaan and IceRiver. Every unit goes through serial-logged intake, inspection and burn-in before it is energised, and you keep full ownership of the hardware throughout.

Hosting →

How do I monitor my machines?

Your machines point at your own pool account with your payout address - we never hold, route or custody your funds. You track hashrate, temperature and uptime live from your account dashboard on any device, and you receive transparent monthly consumption and uptime reporting on top.

Where are your facilities, and can I visit?

Two sites: the head office and showroom at Al Nisf Building, Airport Road, Al Garhoud, Dubai, and the hosting facility at ICAD Business Hub, Abu Dhabi. The showroom is walk-in - see a machine running and take it home the same day. To see the hosting floor, message us on WhatsApp at +971 50 143 3709.

What are the contract terms and payment options?

Terms are agreed per deployment and confirmed in writing with your quote, so nothing is left to assumption. Message us on WhatsApp at +971 50 143 3709 or email info@cryptominers.ae with your model and quantity, and we will set out contract length, deposit and payment options - usually the same working day.

Is crypto mining legal in the UAE?

Yes, crypto mining is legal in the UAE. What it requires of you depends on scale and setup: mining as an individual is treated differently from operating as a business or offering mining services to others, and the relevant frameworks include VARA in Dubai and ADGM in Abu Dhabi. This is general information rather than legal advice - anyone setting up at commercial scale should take proper advice on licensing.

Can I work out what a machine would earn before buying?

Yes. The cost calculator on this site works out the electricity a fleet burns per day, month and year in dirhams, the energy and cost required to produce one whole Bitcoin, and the profit or loss at your own tariff - including the break-even electricity rate at which a machine stops making money. It uses a live BTC price and UAE tariff presets, and every input is editable.

Does hosting cost less than running a miner at home in the UAE?

Usually yes, because electricity is the dominant lifetime cost of any ASIC. A UAE residential tariff runs around AED 0.29 per kWh before you add the cooling load, which in a Gulf summer is 15 to 20 per cent on top of what the machine itself draws. Hosted machines sit on industrial power in a facility built to remove that heat. Put your own numbers into the calculator and compare against the break-even rate it gives you.

How much does Bitcoin mining cost in electricity per month?

For a single modern ASIC drawing about 3,500 W and running 24 hours a day, expect roughly 105 kWh per day before cooling. At an indicative UAE residential rate of AED 0.29/kWh, that works out to around AED 880 a month once you add a 15% cooling allowance. Ten machines multiply that to roughly AED 8,800 a month. Use the calculator above with your own tariff and machine count for a figure specific to your setup.

What is the cost of electricity to mine 1 Bitcoin?

It depends almost entirely on your miner efficiency and your electricity rate. A fleet averaging 15 J/TH against a network hashrate near 1,000 EH/s needs in the region of 800,000 kWh to produce one whole Bitcoin. At AED 0.29/kWh that is roughly AED 232,000, while industrial power near AED 0.20/kWh brings it closer to AED 160,000. That figure covers electricity alone and excludes hardware, hosting and downtime.

Costs →

Why is my electricity bill higher than the rate multiplied by kilowatt-hours?

Because the advertised rate is only the energy charge. Commercial and industrial accounts are also billed demand charges based on your highest power draw in the period, capacity or connection fees for the grid headroom reserved for you, and transmission and distribution costs. Together these can add the equivalent of USD 0.02 to USD 0.04 per kWh, which is why the calculator above has a demand and capacity toggle.

Costs →

Does the UAE climate make mining more expensive?

Yes. An ASIC converts virtually all the power it draws into heat, and in a Gulf summer that heat has to be removed rather than simply vented. Air-cooled deployments typically budget 15 to 20 per cent on top of the miner’s own consumption for ventilation and cooling, which is the default in this calculator. Hydro-cooled machines and purpose-built facilities reduce that overhead considerably.

Costs →

Is it cheaper to mine at home or to host my miners?

Home mining pays residential tariffs, absorbs the cooling load in your own living space, and puts maintenance on you. Hosting places the machine in a facility on industrial power with professional cooling and 24/7 monitoring, at a published rate per kWh. Because electricity is the dominant lifetime cost of any ASIC, the tariff difference usually decides it. Compare your own numbers using the break-even tariff shown in the Profitability tab.
